How to apply to Benin BESC
In order to issue a BESC certificate for Benin you need to have your shipping documents that are consistent and make an application online.
BESC is an online document therefore the validity is checked at Cotonou customs with importers declaration at hand. The consistency in figures is very important.
These are the required documents for an ECTN (BESC) application for Benin:
- Bill of lading
- Commercial invoice
- Freight invoice (Required if the freight value is not mentioned on the commercial invoice)
- Customs declaration
- Packing list
